What does Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler mean?
It is a phrase commonly yelled in the streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras festivities. The literal translation is "Let the good times roll".
What possessed you to name your blog that?
I like the phrase, I like saying it, I like that it makes people smile when they hear it. It reminds me of my favorite place (New Orleans) and about the reasons why I started writing and cooking in the first place (Tennessee Williams & Gumbo). It serves as a permanent reminder of why I decided to become a writer, which is a process that I know will never be over.
So, what is LLBTR supposed to be about, anyways?
I like writing. I like food. I like sharing things that I go through with others. This is a place where I can combine all of those elements into one semi-cohesive blob.
